As we begin the 2021 holiday season, now is a perfect time to visit historic homes to see holiday decor and hear stories of how those from history celebrated the season. One of my favorite places to visit this time of year is Historic Westover, one of the most beautiful 18th century homes in Virginia. Located along the James River, visiting its grounds and taking a tour of the home is a wonderful way to learn more about the earliest history of our country with your family.
