The October update of my Year of Historical Reading is now posted. During October, I focused on rereading the entire Anne of Green Gables series, along with several additional related books. I highly recommend a reread of a favorite from childhood if you're stressed or trying to find comfort during this challenging time.

We are a little over halfway through the year - thank goodness. I think it’s safe to say that everyone on the whole planet will be happy once 2020 is over. One thing has been good about this year, I have read more than I ever have - 61 books to date! Read my new post about the best books I have read this year so far!
July 1st marks the halfway point of 2020, and while this year hasn’t gone according to plan for anyone, I am making good progress on my goal to read 100 books and to keep my reading around 85% historical fiction and nonfiction.
